Music in May: Muse Fest in West Seattle and Great Women of Folk and Country music series at the Royal Room

Spring has come in roaring like a lioness and with it musical inspiration from amazing women. On Thursday, 5/9 Carrie will be performing solo with a host of local female artists at Muse Fest which is part of the West Seattle Art Walk and then The Great Women of Folk and Country music series kicks off on Thursday, May 30th. Curated by local musician, Sue Quigley, we’ll be honoring Nanci Griffith, The Highwomen and Alison Krauss with performances by local artists, Jen Ayers, Kristin Chambers, Annie O’Neill, Emily Persha, Stefanie Robbins and Carly Toyer. I’m honored to take on the role as band leader with Lonesome Lovers, Greg Fulton (guitar) and Dave Pascal (bass) joining Aimee Zoe (drums) as the band. Lots more to come, are you on our email list?
